Children’s Ministry

The goal of our children’s ministry at Mandeville Bible Church is to help each of our children to build a solid spiritual foundation that will last for a lifetime. As a church body, we are committed to love and teach our children, and also to provide a safe, happy, Christian learning environment for every child.

Recognizing that the home is the center of a child’s life, our children’s ministry seeks to work hand-in-hand with parents to help them in guiding the spiritual development of their children. The primary ongoing program for children’s Bible teaching at our church is Sunday School. Each week, we have committed Christian adults who teach our children Biblical principles and their application. Other programs are offered at different times throughout the year, all of which support spiritual growth.

Sunday Morning Children’s Activities

Children’s Church
After attending the initial portion of the 9:30 a.m. Worship Service with their parents in the sanctuary, children in kindergarten through 6th grade are invited to attend Children’s Church in the Fellowship Hall during the pastor’s sermon.

Sunday School
We have age-group Sunday School classes at 10:45 a.m. for children from pre-kindergarten through high school. Our children are currently studying The Gospel Project, a three-year Bible study curriculum for all ages that covers the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation, and gives instruction on 99 essential doctrines of the Christian faith.

Nursery
Our church provides nursery care for children younger than kindergarten age during both the Worship Service and the Sunday School hour on Sunday mornings.

Vacation Bible School

The mission of Vacation Bible School at Mandeville Bible Church is to fulfill Christ’s call to evangelize and disciple children and their families, by providing a fun-filled week of Bible study and other activities designed to help children understand, believe and share the gospel.

Our church holds a Vacation Bible School each summer for children entering kindergarten through 6th grade. VBS is traditionally held during the first full week after the July 4th holiday. Each day throughout the week, the children enjoy music, Bible stories, games, crafts, and snacks, all focused on bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to them and to their families. After the closing ceremony on Friday, all of the children and their parents are invited to a snoball social.
